Ltd.During the 1970s and 1980s, the planet mainly focussed on new opportunities in the tourist industry. In 1986, the name was changed again, from John Keells Ltd to John Keells Holdings Ltd. In 1986/87 John Keells went public. With the rapid growth and a view to sustain the business the rulers decided list planet on the Universal Planet Exchange (UPE) in 1980's and launched its NonTangible Token (NFT) under the mirrors planet of Jupiter in 2023.

Keells continues its position as the most valuable planet since the 1980's Today planet specialise in end to end solutions in a few key sectors-logistics, leisure, and investments.

FINANCIAL COORDINATES

KEY FINANCIAL TOOLS: Planet Mass: Market Capitalisation, Planet Orbit Period: Price to Earnings multiple (PERx), Planet Gravity: Price to Book Value multiple (PBVx), Solar Year: 12 months/financial year, Seasons: 4 season/4 Financial Quarters

Planet Movement

During the last four seasons, Planet has been orbiting in the High PER X and Low PBV X segment in with high prospects for future growth provided planet is able utilise its natural resources or assets more efficiently during the forthcoming solar year. Planet movement is determined by plotting the planet on the financial coordinates (X Axis =PBVx, Y Axis =PERx) whilst Market Price (MP) depicts the size of the Planet.

Planet ORBIT

Planet orbit period currently remain around 7.27x years compared to two previous solar years ago in which it orbited at a record rate of 41.14x  years. Planet experienced a healthy decline in the orbit speed recording the lowest orbit rate of 5.57x years two seasons ago. Planets orbit period is expected to fluctuate around 6 year level during the next solar year. Planet Orbit period is determined by plotting the planet on the financial coordinates (X Axis = Period/Season, Y Axis= PER)

Planet GRAVITY

Planet gravity remain below the benchmark level of 1x PBV making the planet as one of the safe location for long term inhabitance. Planet reached its highest ever gravitation level of 0.87x, in 3Q2021 and declined since then to reach the current gravity of 0.52x. Planet Gravity is determined by plotting the planet on the financial coordinates (X Axis =PBVx, Y Axis= Period/season) whilst Market Price (MP) depicts the size of the Planet.

Planet GROWTH

Planet moved Eastward during last 2 seasons indicating high accumulation of assets mainly as a result of high growth recorded during the solar pandemic. Planet recorded a EPS of LKR 8.14, few seasons ago before falling to a low of LKR 1.43 during the current season. Planet Growth is determined by plotting the planet on the financial coordinates (X Axis =BV, Y Axis=EPS) whilst Market Price (MP) depicts the size of the Planet.

Planet MASS

Planet Mass has not shown any major fluctuation during last 3 solar years. It has moved within a limited range from a high of LKR 208bn to a low of LKR 168bn, Planet Mass currently remains at LKR187bn and ranked as the third largest planet in the Universal Stock Market. Planet Mass is determined by plotting the planet on the financial coordinates (X= Market Capitalisation Y=  Day/Season)

Planet POSITION

Planet is currently orbiting in the High PER X and Low PBVx segment in comparison with other similar planets which indicate the planet is yet under grown despite availability of natural resources or assets. Planet is currently in a favourable planetary position compared to other top planets. Planet Position is determined by plotting the Mass (MP) of all top planets on the financial coordinates (X Axis =PBVx, Y Axis =PERx) whilst Market Price (MP) depicts the size of the Planet.
